What Does Paragraph Tidy Do?
This tool transforms messy, unformatted text into clean, readable paragraphs. It intelligently detects inline bullet points, emoji section headers, numbered lists, and improperly formatted content, then reorganizes everything with proper line breaks and spacing.
Two Processing Modes
- Manual Mode: Fast, rule-based processing that instantly formats your text using smart pattern detection. Best for quick formatting tasks with predictable structure.
- AI Mode: Advanced processing powered by artificial intelligence for smarter, context-aware formatting. Ideal for complex or unusual text structures where manual rules fall short. May take a few seconds longer.
Common Use Cases
- PDF Text: Clean up text copied from PDFs that lost its formatting
- Chat Messages: Format long messages with inline bullet points into readable lists
- App Descriptions: Tidy up app store descriptions with emoji headers and bullet points
- Website Copy: Fix text that was copied without preserving structure
- Document Cleanup: Reorganize notes and drafts into proper paragraphs
Formatting Options
- Bullet Style: Choose between preserving original, bullets, dashes, or asterisks
- Line Spacing: Single (compact) or double (paragraph style)
- Trim Lines: Remove extra spaces from each line
- Remove Empty Lines: Clean up unnecessary blank lines
How It Works
Simply paste your messy text, choose between Manual or AI processing mode, select your preferred formatting options, and click Tidy Paragraph. The tool will automatically detect and format bullet points, numbered lists, emoji section headers, and separate closing paragraphs.
